Have had a few enquires as to whether the composition of the prints are actually "real life" locations or entirely from my imagination!
Well, The Highland Garden is based on a secluded cottage and garden in Inverness-shire, Scotland. Le Jardin was drawn from photographs of a real life home in France, while Holker Hall Gardens resulted from photographs and sketches done while visiting Holker Hall in Cumbria. If anyone would like more information about the background/narrative to any of these three prints just get in touch.
